Mens opfattelsen af, hvad der kan betegnes som erotisk og pornografisk, er historisk foranderligt, så indeholder stjernetegnsfilmene scener, der stadig den dag i dag vil blive karakteriseret som porno. Det usædvanlige er altså kombinationen af porno og mainstream.
