In this visual essay Jakob Isak Nielsen proposes six major functions of camera movement in narrative cinema. In the dissertation I use \u201cinflection\u201d instead of \u201cexpressive\u201d and \u201cfocalization\u201d instead of \u201cp.o.v.\u201d.
